This book deals with the subject of Fluid Mechanics with the main purpose of presenting and developing the basic theory of the subject as well as its application in solving problems and applications. The way the material is presented combines the theoretical with the applied side of Fluid Mechanics, which is also reflected in the title of the manuscript. The need for such a presentation of the material is essential because it has been found that each student approaches the same cognitive object in a different way. For the above reasons, the writing of this book was done with the aim of familiarizing students with the basic knowledge and principles of Fluid Mechanics, providing them with the appropriate theoretical background as well as the ability to apply it at a practical and experimental level.
