XPD2 Wireless delivers its high-quality sound through digital transmission. This type of wireless technology allows the handheld transmitter PXD1 to send an uncompressed signal to the receiver. The result is a higher signal-to-noise ratio compared to traditional wireless systems and performance that sounds as good as a wired microphone.

The USB receiver RXD2 connects directly to Mac or PC computers, or to any portable PA system from the Samson Expedition Series that has a USB wireless port. An additional feature from the previous generation system, the 1/8" (3.5 mm) output, allows monitoring with headphones, and the XPD2 Lavalier can be used with any device with an analog line input, including smartphones and other mobile devices.

A simplified setup is essential for any active performer or presenter. The USB receiver RXD2 easily connects to any portable PA system from the Samson Expedition series or a Samson mixer with a wireless USB port. The RXD2 has a 1/8" (3.5 mm) analog output that can be used with headphones or to connect to other devices with analog input. A USB-A to USB-C adapter is also included for use with other compatible devices.
