EOS-204 EoC Slave

The EOS-204 is an EOC slave, based on a HomePlug AV solution for Ethernet access over coaxial cable. It works together with the EOC master, which is also based on a HomePlug AV solution, to build a dual-layer Ethernet channel for data transmission over CATV coaxial cable, providing Ethernet access service based on the existing coaxial cable network.

The EOS-204 is based on a Qualcomm chipset solution with high OFDM technology for interference protection. The low-frequency band 7.5-65MHz is used for EOC signals. An integrated high-isolation filter acts as a CATV RF and EOC signal mixer, allowing EOC and CATV signals in the frequency range of 87~862MHz to operate over a single cable without interference. The PHY layer speed is 600Mbps, and the MAC layer bandwidth is up to 320Mpbs.
