As stated on the back of the frame, the photograph was taken by Giannis Simiriotis and the reproduction was made in 500 numbered copies. G. Simiriotis was involved in photography and in 1986 published a book with photographs titled "Pigeon Houses of Tinos" in a private edition. The work of Theofilos belonged to the art collection of the collector Philippos Kotsinas.
The frame with the photograph was purchased from POLYPLAN in the 1970s.
