⚫ Black Strobe is a French electroclash and electronic band formed in 1997 in Paris by music producer Arnaud Rebotini and DJ Ivan Smagghe. Initially, they operated in the house music scene but became known for their distinctive blend of acid techno, death disco, and synth-pop/electroclash. Their sound has been described as post-apocalyptic electronic music with a dark and dynamic aesthetic.
