For sale is a compact historical archive (Nachlass) of two authentic military documents Feldpost, documenting the operational path and the loss of the non-commissioned officer Franz Heitz on the Eastern Front. The set includes a handwritten card from the soldier (20.08.1942) from Russia with the unit Regimentsstab Infanterie-Regiment 390 (FpNr 20568), as well as the last correspondence from his wife (13.05.1943) to his new unit, Grenadier-Regiment 226 (FpNr 32119). The archive bears the rare and dramatic service note "Ehemann gefallen 27.5.43", certifying his death.
