Persephone, new book

Through the incidents of everyday life of Persephone, Greece of the early '60s unfolds, as experienced by a five-year-old girl from a middle-class family: cohabitation of parents and grandparents in the big house, family problems, black and white relatives, political disputes. These, along with the events that occur and change the face and character of Greece (the royal weddings, the July events, the arrival of television, the Junta, etc.), are the colorful threads with which she embroiders her canvas. Therefore, Persephone observes faces, behaviors, and situations around her and, in her personal, completely unique way, reaches significant conclusions about her life, giving love, beauty, the possible and the impossible her own, unique interpretations.
