The specially designed Osprey Kyte 46 for women is a chameleon. With a separate compartment for a sleeping bag with a zipper and external straps for a sleeping pad, it is a fully functional overnight backpack. Or tighten the StraightJacket™ side compression straps and take it for a day of climbing at the local crag. Whatever you put inside, Osprey's LightWire™ frame transfers the load to a comfortable mesh hip belt and harness. This innovative suspension system provides all-day carrying comfort, especially in warm conditions when the Airscape™ mesh back panel comes into play. When it’s time to unpack, the main compartment has top loading or side access with a zipper, providing multiple access points to your gear seamlessly. Other storage features include a full-length zippered vertical side pocket, zippered pockets on the top and bottom lid, side and front stretch mesh pockets, and two zippered pockets on the hip belt. Along with the extensive pockets, there are dual front daisy chains and mesh attachment points on the top lid for securing gear to the outside. Other useful features include an external hydration sleeve, stowable ice tool loops, and Osprey's Stow-on-the-Go™ trekking pole attachments. The entire backpack can be protected from the elements by deploying the integrated rain cover.
