Collectible Vintage Sewing Box Madeira (1930-1950)

For sale is an authentic, handmade vintage sewing box/jewelry box from the island of Madeira, Portugal, estimated to be made between 1930 and 1950.
This is an excellent example of folk wood carving and traditional marquetry (marquetry/wood inlay) art.
The exterior lid features detailed classic symbols of the island: the traditional ox cart (Carros de Bois) and the characteristic house of the Santana area.
Dimensions: 30 x 19.5 x 8.5
It includes a removable inner tray with all its original wooden lids and intact brass knobs.
Genuine Key: The original metal key with the characteristic "cloverleaf" design is included, and the lock functions normally.
Extra: It contains the built-in red cushion for pins and two vintage metal thimbles from the same era.
Note: The exterior lacquer and marquetry are in excellent condition. Inside the lid, there is an imprint of the old genuine paper label, while at the bottom of the base, there is a natural crack due to the age of the wood, which does not affect its stability or functionality at all.
