🤘 Gwar – Hell‑O!

Hell‑O! is the first, raw, and completely uncontrolled assault from GWAR. Here, the band hasn't yet 'tightened up' — and that's its strong point. The sound is dirty, punkish, full of noise, humor, theatricality, and a sense that everything could explode at any moment.

The guitars have that chaotic, garage-punk vibe, the vocals are theatrical, distorted, and full of attitude, while the tracks move between hardcore outbursts and more 'satirical' metal riffs. It's the GWAR sound before it became more metal — more raw, more DIY, more cult.

The album has an energy that can't be replicated: it feels like a live show in a basement, with sweat, colors, latex, blood, and chaos. It's the record that shows where all the GWAR madness started and why they gained that fanatic following that still follows them today.
