In this second volume of electromagnetic fields, which is a continuation and supplement to the first volume, we study in detail electrostatic, permanent electric, and magnetostatic fields, presenting various analytical and numerical methods and techniques used for the calculation of these fields, as well as their usefulness in many practical applications. [...] This volume, based on the experience that the authors gained from many years of teaching related courses at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, is intended to serve as a complete introductory book on electromagnetic fields at the undergraduate level. It is primarily aimed at students of Electrical and Computer Engineering in polytechnic schools, but also at students of physics departments, as well as scientists who either want to deepen their knowledge or are engaged in more specialized topics of electromagnetic fields. The level of the book is undergraduate, but there are many specific topics and examples for readers with additional interest. We have limited ourselves to the theory of the electromagnetic field, without examining experimental setups and technical applications.
