Operating Method
The infrared radiation sensor 2 receives and measures the infrared radiation emitted by the external surface it is directed towards. The product determines the surface temperature from this infrared radiation.
To visualize the area of the surface from which the infrared radiation is received by the infrared radiation sensor, the product is equipped with a circular beam laser pointer 8 points 1, which indicates the center of the measurement area.
The measurement area is circularly located around this circular beam laser pointer 8 points and increases with increasing distance from the measuring device. Details can be found in the chapter "Temperature Measurement".
