Good condition, in a transparent case

Stella (Melina Mercouri) is a singer at the Paradise center, run by Maria (Sophia Vembo). At the same center, another singer, Anneta (Voula Zouboulaki), sings and is jealous of Stella. Stella's boyfriend is Alekos (Alekos Alexandrakis), a scion of a wealthy family, who reacts strongly to this relationship. However, Stella decides to end their relationship before it deteriorates and also because Miltos, a football player for Olympiakos, has already appeared, capturing her interest.

Initially, Stella avoids Miltos's close pursuit, but later succumbs to his passion and charm. She loves him; however, she also loves her freedom. Therefore, she will need to make a significant choice when he proposes to her. She accepts the proposal, but with a half heart, as such a decision does not suit her temperament. Just before the wedding, Miltos's mother (Christina Kalogerikou) visits her at home where she is with Anneta. The old woman gives her blessing to Stella, who, as soon as her future mother-in-law leaves, gets up and leaves too, leaving Anneta behind shouting. She spends the rest of her day and night with her young admirer Antonis (Kostas Kakkavas), a chance acquaintance. At dawn, returning home, Miltos is waiting for her, who stabs her in the middle of the street and, immediately after, embraces her, kissing her. A crowd gathers, among them Anneta, who shouts at Miltos to leave so he won't be caught, while he continues to embrace the dead Stella, seeming not to hear anything.
