CPU AMD K5/133 Socket 7
The K5 is AMD's first x86 processor developed entirely in-house. It was introduced in March 1996 and its main competitor was Intel's Pentium microprocessor. The K5 had an ambitious design, closer to a Pentium Pro than a Pentium in terms of technical solutions and internal architecture. However, the final product was closer to the Pentium in terms of performance, although faster from time to time compared to the Pentium.
