Antique French Art Deco White Enameled Cast Iron Cemetery Vases Original Pair

Original ar5 deco enameled cast iron cemetery vases from the early 20th century. Design features a white enameled body, fluted vertical ribbing and a scalloped base with geometric ribbon decorations. These weighted containers were used in French funerary spaces, featuring Cork sealed bottom holes to drain rainwater and prevent winter frost damage. Authentic piece of French social history.

Pros / Cons
Positives: Solid, stable, rigid structure holding its original shape. Enameled surfaces clean and glossy. Especially suitable for dried flowers. No complex restoration needed.
Negatives: Minor usage marks. Few small enamel chips. One vase with complete original cork leaks, the other vase with partial original cork is watertight. In this state perfect for dried flowers. For use with water needing small restauration of cork pieces.
