The DVD was released in March 2005 by Eagle Vision. It is an official, authorized music documentary that tells the story behind the creation of the iconic album Nevermind (1991), which changed the history of rock music.
The documentary (approximately 74 minutes long) delves into the production process of the songs and features exclusive interviews with the surviving members of the band, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, as well as the album's producer, Butch Vig.
There is a detailed presentation of the composition and recording of landmark tracks such as Smells Like Teen Spirit, Come As You Are, Lithium, In Bloom, Polly, and Territorial Pissings.
Archival footage of Kurt Cobain is included, as well as demo recordings that show how the songs evolved before reaching their final form.
