Deep Purple - Live in Concert 1972/73. Originally released in 2005 by EMI as part of the "The Deep Purple DVD Archive Collection" series. This is a historic document, as it is the only complete, filmed live performance of the legendary Mark II lineup of the band from that era. The lineup includes: Ian Gillan (vocals), Ritchie Blackmore (guitar), Jon Lord (keyboards), Roger Glover (bass), and Ian Paice (drums). Monochrome footage lasting approximately 90 minutes from KB Hallen in Denmark. It is a historic concert, as it is the only professionally recorded performance where they play the song "Fireball" live (just before it was permanently replaced in live shows by "Smoke on the Water"). New York (May 1973). Color footage lasting 22 minutes from Hofstra University. It includes a rare color performance of the iconic "Smoke on the Water" from '73. Bonus: It contains an additional live performance of the song "Burn" from the later appearance of the Mark III lineup at California Jam. Very good condition!
