«The Soul Of Israel» by the famous orchestra 101 Strings - a collection of the most beloved Jewish and Israeli songs in rich orchestral arrangements by Monty Kelly.

Includes «Havah Nagilah», the moving «My Yiddishe Momme», «Kol Nidrei», the national anthem «Hatikvah», and the legendary «Exodus» by Ernest Gold. The back cover insert describes the program as a portrait of a people - from the bravery of the Haganah to the joy of a wedding in the kibbutz.

The 101 Strings were the first orchestra in the world to record exclusively for stereo sound, and their signature «Sound of Magnificence» with the 101 strings became a hallmark of easy listening in the 1960s-70s. American release Alshire.

CONDITION
Record (vinyl): VG+. Clean, shiny surface with light lines from use. The purple labels are clean and legible, with no writings.

Cover: VG. The record still retains the original factory shrink wrap, which is torn and opened at the top - it is not a sealed copy. Under the shrink wrap, there are signs of ring wear, general rubbing, and small damages at the corners.

Note: the grading is visual based on the photos - the record has not been checked by listening on a turntable.
